PRIVACY & TERMS
Photography & videography
I give permission for photographs or videos showing images of me and my child/ren to be taken while we are at Young Hoopers classes. I also give permission for those images to be used at Young Hoopers’ sole discretion for internal and external communications, including advertising and marketing, email marketing, and posting on Young Hoopers’ official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, WeChat) and website.
I understand that I can withdraw this consent at any time by advising Young Hoopers in writing.
Allergies & other medical or behavioural issues
Parents are required to tell Young Hoopers about any allergies, conditions or behavioural issues their child has when enrolling. Email info@younghoopers.com.au with known triggers, symptoms and management strategies so staff can recognise and treat the condition.
In the event of an unforeseen accident or illness, Young Hoopers is authorised to obtain the medical assistance required, and I agree to meet any expenses attached to that.
Cancellation & absences
There are no cancellations, refunds or credits once a booking has been processed. Your place is booked for the full term.
For unexpected absence (sickness or injury with a medical certificate, or other significant misadventure), send an explanation and the relevant documents to info@younghoopers.com.au. We will assess the situation and make a refund if we determine it is appropriate.
A make-up class may be possible if there is space in another class and notice has been given (email or WeChat) and approved. Permanent transfers need at least 48 hours’ notice and availability in the required class. Enrolled families can request a make-up from My Account.
Inappropriate behaviour
Young Hoopers does not tolerate disruptive or inappropriate behaviour by class participants or parents.
If a participant displays inappropriate behaviour, staff will speak to them about the rules and positively reinforce an alternative. If there is no improvement, the participant will be given time-out. If a participant physically harms another child or staff member, time-out is given and the parent/guardian is contacted. For other serious or prolonged incidents the child may be removed from the program.
Parental behaviour is assessed case by case. Conduct that is detrimental to the program may mean the parent can no longer attend sessions (the child may still attend) or complete removal from the program.
